MTV Summer Fair Logo Teens Looking for Summer Volunteering?

 

The Memphis Teen Volunteers (MTV) Summer Fair gives teens ages 13 - 18 the opportunity to connect with local non-profit agencies who are seeking teen volunteers to serve their agency during the summer.  Check out the information and register to join us on Monday, May 23 from 4:00 - 7:00 at the Benjamin Hooks Central Library. March of Dimes NICU Family Support

We want to give community members like you the opportunity to learn more about our partnering agencies as well as their volunteer coordinators.  This month we "shine a spotlight" on one of our partner agencies - a signature program of the March of Dimes.  The purpose of NICU Family Support is to address the emotional and educational needs of families during the NICU hospitalization of a newborn and beyond, and in the event of a newborn death.  Learn more...

With the rising rivers and continuing rain, there's plenty of opportunity to volunteer to assist in flood-related activities.This activity not only occurs before and during the actual flooding, but in the recovery phase as well.  From sandbagging, working at shelters, distributing clean-up kits, case workers, etc. - there's a lot of work to be done in the Mid-South.  To find out how you can help:
