My first class at the dojo was full of new and curious things. Quickly, I realized that in the dojo, there were many new rules and ways of doing things that were not considered strange or foreign. They were considered to be traditions, and almost...sacred.
However, as with many things in modern martial arts, the true origins of our traditions are sometimes surprising, and rarely as romantic as we would like.

An article in the 3rd issue of CURIOUS THINGS caused quite a stir. The article included an interview and conversations I had with an AREA 51 insider. Also within that article were two images that were at the heart of the stir: Two scans of DIA documents labeled TOP SECRET, sent to me by this same individual. In this article I have included additional scans of documents given to me by this "spooky" friend of a friend.
