Dear Reader
The articles in this issue of Curious Things include my astounding conversation with a shadowy intelligence type alleged to have requisitioned a propulsion circuit of a UFO from AREA 51, as well as having been accused of being the Umbrella Man in JFK's assassination. Also, read about the first time I visited the Shingon Buddhist temples and monasteries of Koyasan, Japan, and how I found understandings of my martial arts in the ceremony of esoteric Buddhism.
Also, in this issue...a sneek peek at my next novel, THE THIRD TEMPLE. I have uploaded for you to read and enjoy a bit of the original, unedited manuscript of this title which is due out this coming Winter.
I hope you enjoy this issue of CURIOUS THINGS! |

In my book PROPHETS REBORN, Gabe and his friend, the Abbot of the Kongobuji Monastery in Koyasan, Japan, perform their Karate Kata as a regular regimen, and also in almost a ceremonial manner. There are a number of such scenes in my book.
I began going to the Shingon Buddhist temples and monasteries of Koyasan in the summer of 1994. I remember that first summer.

CONVERSATIONS WITH AN AREA 51 INSIDER | |
In my novel GODS OF EDEN, the Foundation's Dr. Luxor is charged with introducing onto the global market, science and products backward engineered from alien technology.

We drank whiskey, smoked cigars and had an amazing dinner...and one of the most amazing conversations I have ever had. At 3:00 AM when I drove back from Gilroy to my hotel in San Jose, my mind was reeling.

THE THIRD TEMPLE: AN EXCERPT FROM THE ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPT |
Enjoy this excerpt of the unedited manuscript of my upcoming novel, THE THIRD TEMPLE. The storyline takes takes the reader to Ethiopia, Jordan, Switzerland, America, and Jerusalem. As I read, see and hear the news headlines of today, I have sometimes considered an early release of this story to avoid its being pre-empted by facts.
Central to the story is the question...
How would finding the Ark of the Covenant affect the world if it were placed back into the Temple of Solomon, as rebuilt on the Temple Mount of Jerusalem?
The Temple Mount is ground zero for three religions: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. All have claims on this holy real estate. And rarely is there agreement on which claims are the most valid.
Enjoy a sneek preview of THE THIRD TEMPLE.
