| Presidential Cadillacs | Moving History Forward Since 1919
Cadillac has had the distinctive honor of being the presidential vehicle of choice since President Woodrow Wilson rode through the streets of Boston during a WWI victory parade in a 1916 Series 53. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, it's rumored that President Franklin D. Roosevelt used a heavily armored 1928 Cadillac Town Sedan that had, at one time, belonged to the gangster, Al Capone. Even today, President Barack Obama's limousine, otherwise known as "Cadillac One" and nicknamed "The Beast" by secret service, incorporates signature Cadillac elements but was custom designed and built for its specific presidential purpose.
