Liven up your summer, invite a Freedom School Intern into your home!

Do you have a garage apartment, spare bedroom, or empty in-law suite that is just begging to be lived in? Freedom School Partners is currently in need of housing for 13 of our fabulous interns.  Take the opportunity to get to know someone new and through them gain a greater understanding of the transformational work that happens at Freedom School.

"Lindsay came home one night and told us the story of a handful of Latino children in her classroom who were shaking with excitement when they realized the character from the book they were studying was actually a real person, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor" - Barabara Wright, Board Member and 2011 Freedom School Intern housing provider.

Servant Leader Interns are current college students who have signed on to work with Freedom Schools for the summer.  These have been wonderful experiences for both the Intern and the host family.  Interns require housing between May 26 and July 28.

If interested contact Macie Alexander Stewart,
Director of Summer Programs by March 1, 2012.
