March 2012
We welcome spring at CCAM and continue to hope for sunny days as our facility continues to grow. Check out the latest photos below. It has been an amazing month. Not only did we get to shake hands with President Obama, but he held up CCAM as an example of the manufacturing innovation and collaboration that can happen when best-in-class manufacturers partner with top universities to accelerate development and commercialization of new technologies. As if things couldn't get any better, CCAM has won a Manufacturing Leadership (ML100) Award in the "New Workforce" category and has also been selected as a finalist for the Greater Richmond Technology Council's Community Catalyst Award. We are currently seeking Directors of Economic and Workforce Development and leaders in Manufacturing Systems, Surface Engineering, and Modeling and Simulation in support of our research agenda (see right for details). Please stay tuned for more monthly updates from CCAM!
