| VSU Hosting CCAM Road Map for Research Workshop |
|
Virginia State University hosted a week-long workshop last week for members of CCAM's Technology Advisory Council, Industrial Operations Board, and other key research constituents. The workshop was facilitated by professionals from Newport News Shipbuilding who expertly led us to our objectives of a more detailed research agenda within our research themes of Surface Engineering and Manufacturing Systems, and defining the process by which research ideas are generated and vetted to become funded generic research projects for the benefit of our members.
Thank you VSU, Newport News Shipbuilding, and those of you who took time out of your busy schedules last week to participate in the workshop.
