Prayer

 

Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant, Cam, Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive him into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light.  Amen.

 

May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.

 Greetings!

This morning, Cam Davis peacefully passed from this life to the next one.   While we will all miss him greatly, we can rejoice in the assurance of his homecoming today.  He was a wonderful, godly man who is now finding peace and rest with his Savior, Christ Jesus.  He was most certainly welcomed with the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

His family has made arrangements for the service to be held at our church.  Visitation will begin at 9am.  A memorial eucharist will be celebrated by Fr. John Craft at 11am.  A reception will follow.  Please contact Suzanne Fontan if you would like to help with the reception.  Her mobile number is 504-430-6879.
