Annual Scandinavian Fest (THIS WEEKEND)
(Prior to serving at Annunciation, Fr. Dagfinn Magnus was pastor of the Norwegian Seaman's Church.)
Friday through Sunday (Nov. 4-6) is the annual Scandinavian Festival at the Norwegian Seamen's Church, 1772 Prytania St. The food always includes open-faced sandwiches, cream cakes, cookies and much more. The Women's Auxiliary's Christmas Sale is a big part of the event, as is music. Hours are Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The food sale ends Saturday; on Sunday, lunch and cakes are served after the 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Jazz Service. Varney Rannells & Todd Gonczy elected to Vestry
At the Annual Parish Meeting on October 23, two parishioners were elected to the Vestry. Varney Rannells was elected to a two-year term on the Vestry. Todd Gonczy was re-elected to a second two-year term. Kiki Stelly, John Breithaupt, and Glenys Hall continue to serve on the Vestry after having been elected at last year's Annual Parish Meeting.

Senior Citizen Computer Classes
 When: Every other Saturday 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
(Oct. 15th and 29th, Nov. 12th and 26th and Dec. 10th)
Where: Wilson School Computer Lab in the 2nd floor library; enter on S. Miro St.
Why: A free and open service to help community members with basic computer usage, Microsoft Office, Internet navigation and email.
