Departments moving to new HQ
All Hall County Government offices in the Development Services building on Prior Street, as well as the Engineering Division in the Joint Administration Building, have moved to the new Hall County Government Center at 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville. All departments to be located in the new building will be moved by the end of October. Read more.

County invests in 365 industrial park
The Hall County Board of Commissioners is investing in roads and utilities for an industrial park on Ga. 365. The Georgia Poultry Laboratory will be the first occupant of the new Gateway Industrial Centre, which will ultimately hold 23-27 industrial sites. The industrial park is expected to generate up to 4,000 jobs and has the potential to increase the tax base by $1.1 billion over the course of development. Read more.

Balloon festival to benefit shelter Sterling on the Lake's Harvest Balloon Festival on Oct. 20 will benefit the Hall County Animal Shelter. Join us for an afternoon of fun with balloon rides, competition racing, tethered balloon rides and a balloon glow.
