39 dogs find homes in NY
The Hall County Animal Shelter's transport embarked on another adoption event - this time in White Plains, NY on April 28th & 29th. Shelter Veterinarian Dr. Meghan Seabolt, Justin Seabolt, and Shelter employees Anna Crawford and Kevin Buecker accompanied the animals on the trip.  Best Friends Animal Society hosted the event and it's popularity attracts potential adopters from all over the state.  Thanks to our hard working staff and volunteers, 39 furry travelers found permanent homes during the 2-day event!

On the Road with Animal Control

In addition to the Animal Shelter, Animal Control is the other branch of Hall County Animal Services. Animal Control Officer Billy Pitchford participated in Career on Wheels at Chicopee Elementary School.  He spoke to the kids about Hall County's animal laws and how to stay safe.
 Career on Wheels
Did you know......
.....that Hall County has a leash law?  All pets must be confined to the owner's property by a chain, cable or fence.  Taking a walk with your dog?  Make sure he/she is on a leash!
