Now is the Time to Book Your Pavilion Rental!

Do you have a Birthday Party, Family Reunion or Corporate Picnic coming up?  One of Hall County Parks and Leisure's beautiful pavilions (covered picnic sites) may be your answer.

 

Alberta Banks Park has one pavilion that can accommodate up to 140 people and is close to the Field of Dreams (rubberized, accessible baseball field and playground), 2 softball fields, 3 baseball fields, playground, and the Bobby Bailey Tennis Center. Alberta Banks Park is located at 5575 Jim Crow Road, Flowery Branch, GA 30542.

 

Laurel Park has three conveniently located pavilions. Pavilion 1 accommodates up to 150 people, Pavilion 2 accommodates up to 100 people, and Pavilion 3  will accommodate up to 40 people. All are close to the spraygrounds (water playground), 2 playgrounds, baseball/softball fields, mega-boat ramp, 2 tennis courts, a 1-mile walking trail, shoreline fishing, and a dog park. Laurel Park is located at 3100 Old Cleveland Hwy., Gainesville, GA 30506.

Dog Bark Parks
Hall County Parks and Leisure currently has two Bark Parks!  Both the Mulberry Bark Park and the Laurel Bark Park are open from sunrise to sunset and each park has designated areas to accomodate both large and small dogs.
 
Please make sure that your four-legged friend is current on their vaccinations and at least six months of age.  Dogs must be off leash only within the designated fenced area.
 
Mulberry Bark Park is located in Mulberry Creek Park (4491 JM Turk Road in Flowery Branch).  Laurel Bark Park is located in Laurel Park (3100 Old Cleveland Highway in Gainesville).

Cheer Competition

Attention all HCPL Cheer Squads!  Registration is open for the upcoming Cheer Competition.  Squads must be current and the deadline to register is Friday, February 10. Competition will take place at 6:00 p.m.on Friday, February 17 at Sardis Gym (2805 Sardis Road in Gainesville). Contact: Kelly, knorman@hallcounty.org or call 770-535-8280.

Field of Dreams

The Field of Dreams Spring Baseball Season is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 27. This league is open to school-aged children with all levels of physical and developmental abilities.  The season is six weeks long and meets every Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m at Phil Niekro Field of Dreams (5575 Jim Crow Road, Flowery Branch 30542).

Cost is only $5 and the registration deadline is March 23.

River Forks Opening Soon!

River Forks Park and Campground is scheduled to open on March 1.  Now is a great time to reserve your space!

 

River Forks Park is a camper's delight on beautiful Lake Lanier! Outdoor lovers enjoy the 40,000 square foot beach, 63 campsites with electric and water hook-ups, a sewer pump-out station, area for group camping and more. This 118 acre park is a must see for campers of all ages.

RV Site: $25 ($20 seniors 55+)

Small Pavilion: $50 in county, $75 out of county
Large Pavilion: $100 in county, $125 out of county
