Angel Flight Southeast is holding a special raffle to help raise money for our life-saving mission of coordinating free air transportation for children and adults with medical or compelling humanitarian needs. The funds make sure the "lights stay on" to answer phone calls 24 hours, 7 days per week; even when calls come in the middle of the night!

Gates will open to an atmosphere of family, fun and flying! SALUTE AMERICA 2012 will be a historical celebration of aviation history and heritage for people of all ages!

Stetson Baptist Church of Deland, Fl had their "aviation week" at Vacation Bible School this week. Angel Flight Southeast was invited to speak, and teach the children about Angel Flight.

During the week the Church had been collecting funds for our organization as the "aviation charity of choice." If they raise enough money, the executive director will be "silly-stringed." If they hit their bigger threshold, the Pastor of the Church will also be "silly-stringed" by the children. Well, they hit their goal! The entire $2,783.33 was donated to our cause.

| Mid-year fundraising campaign |
Our new tri-folds will be going out shortly. Missions are up, recruitment is up, PR is up, but fundraising has been tough.
The average mission costs about $100 to coordinate, and with demand being so high, we as an organization could really use your help.
With enough help, we we could fly an additional 1,000 missions per year!
You can help transport people to doctors that can save their lives. How many flights would you like to help sponsor?

Immediate need for PR gurus to help promote our 3-way high-speed raffle. If you are good at social networks, have connections into the media, or just want to help sell tickets on a one-on-one basis, please let us know to make this raffle a big success.
Immediate need for a Graphics Artist to create a new version of a tri-fold brochure for our mid-year fundraising campaign
A Tuesday in June or July at 12:00 at the Newnan Country Club Newnan, GA (Speaker needed)
July 13 6pm - Request from the director: Vacation Bible School is July 9-13th. We would love for you or some of your pilots to come and talk to our kids about what you do and why you do. We would also love to have a representative from your organization on our Family Night on Friday July 13th at 6:00 pm. That is when we find out our total offering. I think the kids would love to say thank you to you for all that your organization does. (Need a presenter)

The summer months tend to be especially lean for fundraising, and we are hard at work trying to find creative ways to raise much needed funds in this environment.
Here are some ways you can help, if you can't write a check yourself:
- Do you know any Foundations you can recommend to us?
- Do you know anyone who would be willing to put our org in their will?
- Do you work for a company that does planned giving, such as payroll deductions?
- Want to give monthly automatically? We can handle that!
- Want to donate a car, boat or airplane? We can handle that too!
