Venice, FL event
On Saturday, March 10 at the Plantation Country Club in Venice the Mental Health Community Centers, Inc. held their 14 Annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner (fund raiser dinner), "Fly In For Mental Health." It is big event. This year the C0-Event Sponsors were the Venice Aviation Society, Inc and the Venice Airport Business Assoc.  We made a major push for Mercy Flight/Angel Flight. The main emcee dressed up like an Angel. Amelia was parked directly outside in the Club parking lot and the Angel Flight Banner was posted in the dinning room. While the main purpose was to raise money for the Beacon House (facility of the MHCC) we did give Angel Flight great publicity. Also we did not raise any money but we did substantially raise awareness and expect more to follow.
