We are still looking for players, volunteers and sponsors to make this event a success. You don't have to know how to play to attend. Suggested donation to enter is $60, and includes a relaxed dinner (no sticky cards).
This is the first in a series of Hold'm events with 5 others to follow in the next few months in the following cities:
- Leesburg
- Orlando
- Tampa
- Lakeland (@Sun 'n' Fun)
- Daytona Beach
Join us to support Angel Flight, and try to win travel, a 40' TV, artwork and many other great prizes!
A special thanks to the Krysty & the Southeast Ramp for donating their beautiful space, and to Bruce Brown, Ralph Proctor, Bobby Cole and Alan Hoffberg for their help to make this a great event. | |
Stuart Air Show |
Tens of thousands attended the Stuart Airshow this weekend, and Angel Flight Southeast was there. Thanks to the help from AFSE pilot Greg Banfield with his wife Roberta, passenger Bill Brooks with his wife Michelle, Wing Leader Mark Mirin and Pat & Fred Purello, we had a very successful event. Angel Flight brought in some needed donations, recruited a half-dozen pilots and was able to give out critical information to many families in need of our services, including four whose family or friends needed transplants and had to travel a long distance to receive them.
We also had a special visit from little Noah, who for the past two years, instead of receiving gifts for his birthday party, accepted donations for Angel Flight Southeast. To thank him, Greg Banfield will be taking Noah on a flight in his airplane.
Greg Banfield, Noah, Noah's brother and his grandparents
Thanks to all of those who made this weekend a success!

Pilot spotlight
These are the very special pilots that volunteered to take one or more of our many weekly missions.
It is so great to see a transplant mission on this list, this always gives us here at headquarters a great feeling of graditude to the pilot and relief to the passenger.
