Fuel reimbursement for pilots?

The Angel Flight Southeast Board voted YES to apply for a special program the FAA has created for volunteer

pilot organizations like us.

What this could mean:

Reimbursement for (based on our ability to raise donated funds or fuel) fuel for the pilots, which means more missions can be filled. That is great news for everyone.

We anticipate we could increase our mission count by double-digits if we are approved! Thank you Board of Directors!

We expect to hear from the FAA by the beginning of next year. More details to come.....

Angel Flight Southeast Bahamas Fly-in a big success!

A great time was had by all. 6 airplanes and 14 people joined us in the Bahamas for our fundraiser dinner cruise aboard the Bahama Mama, stay at the beautiful Grand Lucaya resort, and quarterly board meeting.

We were thrilled to treat Bruce Brown and his guest Tonda to a free trip, and are now with them in Treasure Cay, Abaco.

We hope to enjoy this with even more of our special volunteers and volunteer pilots next year. This should be an annual event to be shared with others.

Grant writers

Do you write well? This is an area we really need some help. Prior grant writing experience is not necessary! We've already prepared our main project plan (Passengers, Pilots & Participation), but now need to complete two more, and apply to a number of foundations that can help our organization reach its next level of goals.

Event volunteers

Please see the events scheduled in the left hand column. We need drivers, people to man our booths, help growing our wings and more!
