Angel Flight Volunteers did it again...

This week we flew a less-than-one-year-old for a new liver from Tampa to Miami. We got the call, and within 45 minutes the volunteer pilot and family were in the air. What a feeling to be part of such a great organization. We all deserve to keep a smile on our face to know that our mission is helping all ages.

We currently have 53 people waiting for a lung, kidney, heart or liver and answer the phones 24/7 when the need arises.

Please let people know of our mission, and let them know they can contribute to make missions like this happen every day.

Monthly Pilot tele-forum

Thanks to Greg Banfield, we are going to begin a monthly pilot tele-forum (non-pilots welcome), where feedback can be given to HQ, to make our mission better, new pilots can ask questions about missions, and pertinent information regarding our most important function of flying those in need can be shared and disseminated.

West Palm Beach Wing Monthly Meetings

Fred Simonds has a squadron meeting at Galaxy FBO West Palm Beach International PBI the first Thursday of every month. The most current AFSE information is shared along with discussing upcoming events and just meeting new friends. These meetings are for both pilots and people who wish to help with outreach. Only 15% of the people who could use AFSE know about us. Part of our mission as AFSE members is to spread the word!
