Spa, Knit, and Spin Here February 23 - 26 | |
The annual event, Spa, Knit, and Spin will be coming to Freeport February 23-26. The event is centered at the Hilton Garden Inn with the group also spreading out to other lodging properties as well. Approximately 600 - 800 people (mostly women!) can be expected.
Spa, Knit, and Spin began in 2003 when a small group of women got together and decided that they wanted a weekend a way from the kids and husbands to just sit around and knit. When the event outgrew the hotel that they were using in Portland, they moved up to Freeport and have been coming here ever since.
The event includes a Vendor Marketplace at the Hilton Garden Inn with the following hours and is open to the public:
Friday 5:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pm Sunday 9:00am - 11:00am
