Peter Hansen, the principal and founder of Hansen Home Inspections Ltd. and has over 30 years of experience in building safety, building inspection, and building construction.
Peter is a long term resident of the North Shore, and worked as a Fire Fighter with the District of North Vancouver Fire Rescue Services (DNVFRS) for 31 years retiring in 2009 at the rank of Captain (see sidebar for more).  He served as a Director of Parkgate Community Services Society from 2004 to 2009.

His Professional Development includes a Management Systems Certificate and a House Inspection Certificate from BCIT.  Peter is a member of ASTTbc (Applied Science Technologists & Techniciams of BC) and BCIPI (BC Institute of Property Inspectors).
