TUESDAY NIGHT HILL BOUNDING
@ 5:30pm at Baird Creek Sledding Hill
Hill bounding is the hardest workout a x-c skier can do, it is also the most effective as it develops strength, technique and aerobics, all into one hardcore workout. Our Hill bounding 2010 group has been averaging about 35 people. We have lots of different aerobic and/or ski abilities but that's okay since we all stay together on one hill. So, if you miss a rep you can just jump in on the next one.
The group is improving weekly and everyone should hit the snow flying. We go until the end of November so come join us or watch some videos of the action.
All levels and non-skiers welcome! Bring a pair of shorter x-c ski poles with straps with you
or borrow some from us. |

 BIRKIE GYM CLASS STARTING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2010
@ Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Center from 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Our 12-week training session with Mark is primed to start at the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Center. This tough workout will get you in tip top shape for the x-c ski season. Aurora is also offering all participants physiological testing and we will give you some cool winter gear. Wanna move up a wave in the Birkie or just a really hard ski-specific body workout?! BAY NORDIC YOUTH X-C SKI CLUB
 We are proud to announce the Bay Nordic Youth X-C Ski Club for the upcoming for the 2010-2011 ski season. The Nordic ski club is open to youth ages 3 to 12 with activities and curriculum divided into skill levels. The club encourages all skill levels to participate promoting healthy activities, learning and fostering competitive experiences. We have five organized club events this winter. Club goals are to provide the next generation an opportunity to:
*Be introduced to and learn nordic skiing.
*Have lots of fun
*Participate in group activities
