Check out these customer stories and see how FEEDALL engineered the best solutions. How might we improve your productivity?
An automotive supplier with a transmission component (Swaged Tubes) needed to take the tubes from a swaging machine and feed them to a centerless grinder, a process that was originally hand fed. FEEDALL enabled the tubes to be accepted from a swaging machine onto an air-operated r otary/transfer device. This device oriented the tubes with alternating end selection so that swaged ends were together. Tubes were then lifted and transferred onto conveyor feeding tubes end-to-end to the workrest of a CINCINNATI Model 340-20 Centerless Grinder. This involved taking a standard design and adding front-end loader to it and resulted in a cost-savings for the customer and reduction in labor. More details...
A grinder rebuilder company with an automotive application requested a conveyor that would be shipped to INDIA to handle Universal Joint Bearing Cups. FEEDALL provided automation to feed bearing cups into a CINCINNATI Model 340-20 Centerless Grinder, then them from the workrest of the grinder. The exit conveyor was equipped with a special air-operated, diverter device (actuated by a post process gauge on the grinder) to transfer out of spec product into a reject container. More details...
A manufacturer of process reciprocating compressors for the chemical and processing industries was looking to bring the grinding process of Crosshead Pins back in-house from a vendor. They purchased a used CINCINNATI Model 360-20 DE Centerless Grinder and needed to queue parts on front side, feed them through the grinder and collect them on the back side. The FEEDALL solution included a manually loaded, single row magazine with an escapement that lifts one row at a time onto entrance conveyor feeding the grinder workrest and an exit conveyor with a cam-off device and an adjustable accumulation tray.
