Saludos From AAV!

February is already shaping up to be a busy month for us at AAV with the planning and excitement surrounding our first Alternative Spring Break program in Honduras. We're also working on bringing an exciting new opportunity in Copán Ruinas, Honduras...stay tuned for details!

Here's what you'll find in our February Issue...

Baby Boomers Go Abroad! - Volunteering abroad isn't just for students in their "Gap Year" or recent university graduates. There's a growing number of working professionals and retirees joining their younger peers volunteering their time and skills abroad in developing nations.

"Alternative Spring Break" - Beginning February 19 through March 9, students from two Canadian university groups will be joining us in helping to build a much needed new orphanage in Honduras.

"Thinking About Volunteering Abroad?" - If you are considering volunteering abroad, check out our key questions to ask yourself, and a list of reasons why it's a great choice to lend a helping hand in the developing world.

If you like what we're doing, please help us spread the word by taking a moment to send this email to friends & family via the "forward" button in the left column. We'd also love for you to "share us" on your favourite social media sites using the links provided.

Check out the sections below for more exciting details about the stories listed above!
