We hope everyone in Canada and the United States had a great start to July during the Holiday weekend, filled with family and fireworks!

This month we were able to secure another partner project in Argentina. We are extremely excited to be working alongside this incredible school in the northern region of the country, and can't wait to begin sending volunteers to the project!

All Access Volunteers welcomes Brenda Hibdon to our team.  Brenda brings more than 3 years of experience working with volunteers in the Buenos Aires region and will be the "In-Country Coordinator" for Argentina. "Thank you Brenda, for all your hard work and assistance in securing these new partner projects."

We would also like to thank, Joanna Harkness, for recalling her time at "La Casita" in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Joanna's testimonial comes from the heart and we encourage everyone to take a moment to read through it.

As we continue to build our amazing team of partners, volunteers and projects, our excitement grows. Stay tuned, there is much more to come!

Rural School Salta
Located in the north of Argentina, this school was opened in Salta over 90 years ago thanks to a land donation by a private citizen of the area. In its early years, this was a soup kitchen for children. As time passed, it was slowly turned into a school which is now attended by over 700 students. These students come from extremely underprivileged families from the surrounding slum neighbourhoods. Volunteers are needed to assist in workshops which include painting, music, cooking and teaching English. Volunteers are encouraged to assist in the school garden where herbs and vegetables are grown, teaching the children the basics of agriculture while also supplying the school with healthy food choices. Maintenance of the school buildings is always in need of helping hands.

Volunteers are needed on a regular basis. If you, or someone you know, has an interest in volunteering abroad with children,  Contact Us for further details on this amazing project in Salta, Argentina!
Volunteer Recalls Experience in Buenos Aires

"Whenever anyone asks me about my experience at "La Casita" I Samantha in Honduras with Jungle Student Graduate Luzmila Castro
find it very hard to put into words. It really did change me. I was completely humbled and shocked by the optimism that all these children exuded. Regardless of all the bad things they might have had to experience over the course of their young lives, they are all wonderful, kind, and loving children and I really do put this solely down to the amazing influence that the day centre's staff have had on them. At the end of my month experience there, I found it extremely hard to say goodbye. Every single one of these children made such a powerful impact on my life and as cliche as it might sound, it really did show me how lucky I am. Since returning home almost three months ago, I am still very much involved. I sponsor a little 10 year old boy named Ramon who is just an angel. The volunteer coordinator, Brenda, does such an amazing job at keeping me up to date on what is going on and how my contribution is making a difference. I have even had the opportunity to talk to Ramon on Skype which was absolutely amazing. At the moment, I am trying to fund raise as much as I can and I have every intention of going back for a month next Easter. I cannot wait!!"
