Refill Request Change

Effective July 1, Carson Family Care Center (CFCC) will no longer accept refill requests from pharmacies on behalf of patients. CFCC's goal is to enhance the medication management of its patients and, to do so, we will be working directly with patients to ensure accuracy in the medication refill process. CFCC believes that direct communication with patients regarding medications and current health status reduces potential errors that may occur from outdated prescriptions. For more information or if you have any questions about this new policy, or require more information, please contact CFCC directly at 989-584-1308.

Do 1 Thing Logo
The mission of www.do1thing.us is to move individuals, families, organizations, businesses, and communities to prepare for all hazards and become disaster resilient.

"I support my community because someday I might need their support."

Disasters can happen at any time. If you are away from home do you know where to find safe shelter locations? Do you know what the emergency procedures are for your child's school or for your workplace? Will people who count on you know what to do if you can't reach them? Know how to make sure you and your loved ones are safe in a disaster, no matter where you are.

THE GOALMake sure everyone in your household can receive, understand, and act on information received in an emergency.

THINGS TO DOBelow is a list of thing that you can do to achieve your goal this month.

Choose at least one, and complete it.

-Be sure emergency procedures are in place for your workplace or school.

-Give emergency kits to people who count on you (college sutdents, elderly parents, etc)

-Know how others in your community will respond in a disaster.

Thank you, Fish Creek School!

MattAndKids

A few weeks back, we shared a heartwarming story about a group of students from Fish Creek School coming in to tour the hospital. We were as impressed with their interest in the hospital's history as they were with the tour. To show their thanks, a few of them came in to present our hospital with an extra-large thank you card. These young people may grow up to become Carson City Hospital employees. You should feel proud knowing your work is inspiring others!

Congratulations, Megan Smith!

Carson City Hospital is a proud employer of Megan Smith. Last week she won the Nuse of the Year award at Owosso Memorial Hospital! Megan works per diem in our OB department. Congratulations, Megan!
