Hi Everyone,
We've been busy in the last month preparing for and attending shows. Thanks to all of you for your support at both the Heritage Park Show and the Central Alberta Quilters Guild Show in Red Deer.
As you know, we do our Outdoor Quilt Show every other year and this is the off year. If we have another show, it is scheduled for next year. This year I am having a "Christmas in July" retreat in Strathmore. I am very pleased with the reception to the idea and have a full retreat of 35 participants. I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone and having a great weekend of sewing, learning and fun!
Because there is no Outdoor Quilt Show this year, we are instead celebrating 23 years in business with a Birthday Sale this coming week. There are always so many new fabrics coming in, it is time to "clear out the old to make room for the new". The 50% off retail bolts would make great backing fabric or charity quilt fabric.
I have designed a few new projects for the "Christmas in July" retreat participants. I have kept them specifically for the retreat so they would be special. When the retreat is finished, I will be offering them to the general newsletter participants. I have pictured some below.
