Matt Lockett to speak at chamber luncheon Feb. 16th
LAWRENCEBURG, KY - Matt Lockett, Republican Candidate for United States Congress, (KY-06) will be the guest speaker at the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce meeting on February 16, 2010. This meeting is to be held at the Senior Citizens Center, 160 Township Square in Lawrenceburg, beginning at 11:45. Lockett will be speaking on the topics of the economy and job creation for small businesses.
Lockett believes that we have been punishing businesses with higher taxes and increased regulation long enough. "In order to get our economy on the right track, we must provide incentives for businesses to grow. When business growth is fostered, our unemployment rate decreases," says Lockett.
We invite you to hear Matt Lockett and his vision and plan for Central Kentucky and the United States.

Chamber invests more in advocacy than any other Kentucky organization For the third year in a row, the Kentucky Chamber invested more in advocacy efforts during the 2009 Session of the Kentucky General Assembly than any other organization in the state. The Kentucky Chamber's has six lobbyists representing its member companies on a variety of issues from education to taxes to environmental permitting concerns. "With hundreds of interest groups roaming the halls in Frankfort, it is critical that the business community has a strong voice in Frankfort," said Bryan Sunderland, Director of Public Affairs. "We are committed to helping shape public policies that will improve Kentucky's economic and business climate." http://ecast.harvesthost.com/21915
