A simple request has gone out here from the Casa de Dom Ignacio here in Abadiania to take 10 minutes every Thursday evening at 9 pm to say prayers for the continued health , strength & protection of our beloved Medium Joao to continue his God given mission for humanity. This is at local time wherever you are in the world.
I know not by what methods rare
But this I know God answers prayer.
I know not when he sends the word
That tells us fervent prayer is heard.
I know it cometh - soon or late
Therefore we need to pray & wait.
I know not if the blessing sought
Will come in just the way I thought.
I leave my prayers with Him alone

When we pray we talk to God. We are all children of God & we are being touched by the hand of God at the Casa de Dom Ignacio here in Abadiania.
Who ever we perceive God to be.
Medium Joao regularly reminds us that he is just a man.' It is God who heals. I am just an instrument in His Divine Hands.'
Also the Casa is a universal house of love where the medicine is love.
There are no dogmas or religions here.
All belief systems, all creeds & colours are welcome .
Those without faith are welcome also.
Nobody is turned away.
The Entity will receive everyone & waits until everyone is seen.
The triangle at the Casa is a very potent symbol.
Pointing upwards towards the heavens it is a portal between the spiritual & the physical worlds.
There are countless petitions for help placed there every day.
It is a combination of faith love & charity.
Every time we go in the line at the Casa we are asking for help from the Divine Power, a greater wisdom than us.
This is prayer. Current is the heart of the Casa work.
Sitting in the current rooms we are in a prayerful state asking for help also. Prayers from all denominations in Portuguese & English are said in the current rooms to fuel the work of the Casa, helping Medium Joao incorporate & to fulfil his extraordinary healing mission.
We pray to raise the vibration of love at the Casa & to cleanse any dense energy in and around us & to invoke the Entities of Light & Love to come from the higher plains to somehow alleviate our suffering helping us to forgive ourselves, forgive others, to love ourselves & love others as our brother , the ascended Master Jesus taught us to.
The Lords Prayer is said a lot at the Casa. This is a very famous prayer said to have been given by Jesus to the apostles to teach them & in turn us how to pray.
For some the Our Father from its original Aramaic is easier to resonate with here it is

and carve out a space within us where your presence, can abide.
Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear

What each being needs to grow and flourish.

This is a good place to start. Also it good to keep in mind that what we want & what we need are usually poles apart. Surrendering is important, handing everything over to a Higher Power. This is the true essence of prayer.
