It has been confirmed that Joao will again travel to the Omega Institute New York in late September (26th to 29th) this year. Also he is travelling to Germany in November (9th to 13th).
At this point in time we are not aware of any additional trips outside of Brazil or any interruption to the normal Casa schedule.

ELIZA'S HEALING AT THE CASA
In May 2011 I went to Abadiania, Brazil to see Joao de Deus. I had been using a reclining wheelchair for 3 ½ years and before that was laid up in bed for 3 ½ years. I had been diagnosed with Arachnoiditis, a degenerative neurological condition with no cure in sight. I was living my life in chronic pain and with numerous physical limitations.

As a result of my one non-physical surgery by Joao de Deus I am no longer using the wheelchair, am able to walk nearly ½ mile and can sit in a regular chair (previously I had to recline at all times when sitting).
Six years ago my dear mother heard about Joao de Deus. She had been trying to convince me to go to Abadiania, but I was very sceptical. She was very persistent with her suggestion that I go and see Joao de Deus. In 2007 after I was diagnosed with Arachnoiditis I started to think about alternative means of treatment, but was still too skeptical to go to see Joao. In 2010 my mother asked me, "Do you like living your life in chronic pain and in the wheelchair? What's your plan?" Her question jarred me for the first time. I finally agreed to go to see Joao de Deus, but I still had the hurdle of my scepticism. My father suggested that I pray to have my mind and heart open to whatever may come of the treatments. For three months before I went to Brazil I prayed to have my heart and mind opened to the possibility of being healed. By the time I got to Abadiania I was feeling more open. Before I saw Joao de Deus I met several people at my pousada who had actually been healed. This helped me to be open to believing that I too could be helped.
The blessings I have received have enabled me to live my life again with much less physical pain. It is going to take time to adjust to my new life. To anyone considering going to see Joao de Deus I would say that you don't have to believe. The only requirement is to have an open mind. I am eternally grateful to Joao and the family of the Casa.

A MIRACLE FOR TREVOR by David Parker
I have a small healing group in Hornsea, England called the Hornsea Healers. We lay hands and ask God to help those who come along. I met Trevor a few years ago. He is also a healer and lives in Maidstone, Kent. Trevor had MS. Yes, I did say had MS because Joao's Entities have healed him!!
I was arranging a trip to Abadiania to help Trevor for May this year, when I received the newsletter with Joao's trip to Vienna. 18 hours travelling time would have been a nightmare for Trevor, even though he was prepared to do it. Vienna is a 2 hour flight and therefore much easier for him.
My wife Monika & I travelled down to Maidstone in Kent and stayed 2 nights with Trevor & Kim his wife. We flew from Gatwick airport on Friday the 25th March. 2 other friends David & Susan were at the airport to meet us and we all 6 set off for Vienna on the trip of a lifetime. Sightseeing was on the agenda for Saturday and Sunday and Vienna is a really beautiful city, but I was only there to see Joao.
Monday morning 7.30 am off to the Kahlenberg. On arrival we saw the sea of white. Once inside the tent we waited, as all do, to pass the Entities who work through Joao and were all 6 told we were to have operations. We sat in the current room and had our healing.
Tuesday Monika & I sat in the current room in the afternoon and Kim & Trevor (in his wheelchair) passed the Entities once again and had healing for the second time along with Susan & David.
Wednesday Monika & I sat all day in the current room. Trevor & Kim walked in the line to see the Entities again and when stood in front of Joao were told through Martin "Operation tomorrow morning 8.00 am , you will be cured" Well you can imagine how overwhelmed they were. They travelled back to the apartment in the centre of Vienna on the tram full of tears and joy. We came out off the current room at the end of the day and outside the building I turned on my mobile phone and received a message from Kim with the miraculous news. Monika & I both could not hold back the tears either.
Thursday morning Monika & I sat in the current room deep in meditation. Trevor & Kim both had their last operations and were told, once again through Martin, "You are both cured of all Spiritual and physical ailments" Monika & I were on our way for the daily soup and I turned on the mobile phone to receive a message from Kim telling us all about it. What immense joy and love we both felt and we could not hold back the tears once again.
We all spent our last evening in the apartment full of excitement and reflecting on our 4 amazing days at the Kahlenberg. Friday 1st April we flew back to England after a trip of miracles..
Next year we plan to travel to Abadiania to give our thanks and to see Joao and the Entities again.
Joao is an amazing medium and dedicated servant of God and we thank and love him dearly.

Dear Friends of the Casa,
We are indeed extremely well!
After almost 8 weeks Trevor continues to heal day by day; getting stronger & stronger each day.
I myself had an Earthly operation for Atrial Flutter 2 years ago and have always felt that my heart did not pump enough blood to my larger muscles; my thighs. Whilst in the current room, I had a quite painful sensation across my chest and asked Spirit "if it must be, then so be it"
I have felt so much better since. I have no more muscle ache in my thighs.
We are forever indebted to Joao and the Entities and God's great grace.

Experiences at the Casa
Since the Friends of the Casa website was lauched in mid 2002 many people (who have already visited the Casa) have completed the Friends' questionnaire which requests feedback on individual Casa experiences and reasons for visiting. Casa Crystal Beds Around the World
Those of you who have been to the Casa will be familiar with the Crystal bed - the Entity regularly 'prescribes' sessions on the bed to help supplement the healing process. There are eight crystal beds located in buildings adjacent to the main Casa building. Each bed has 7 quartz crystals suspended above the bed which align with and correspond to the 7 chakras of the human body. A session consists of lying on the bed for approximately 20 minutes while listening to soothing music. The crystals radiate color to the respective chakras to cleanse them and to balance their energies. The Entity may prescribe crystal-bed therapy for you, or you may choose to have a therapeutic session on your own.
On our website we provide a list of individuals who were given special permission from the Entity to purchase one of these crystal beds, thereby enabling them to offer these unique treatment sessions at home. I travelled to Brazil in 2006 with two friends, you can see our photograph on the casa gallery - April 2006 titled "The Irish Trio" (I'm on the right of the photo). When I went before entity I was asked to bring a crystal bed back home to Ireland with me. This I did and the bed has brought great joy and healing to all that have experienced it.

I first traveled to the Casa in August 2007, and was so touched by the loving consciousness there that I have been back seven times in three years. As an Esalen massage therapist and holistic healing coach, the Casa work feels like the ultimate manifestation of the Esalen work, which facilitates personal growth to maximize human potential. I've been fortunate to witness many extraordinary experiences under the crystals: immediate pain relief, direct contact with angels, sudden clarity, relief from anxiety and depression, energy body experiences. The month after I bought the crystal bed, a woman with a recurrence of lymphoma came to use the crystal bed for four days. Her cancer had been diagnosed with a biopsy, but she had not yet begun oncology treatments. The week after she returned home, all cancer symptoms disappeared from her body.
