Dear CDWS members,

Please be informed that CDWS received a complaint about a dive guide on a safari boat who tied to the wreck of the Thistlegorm on the famous gun on the stern. See picture below. 

The Thistlegorm is one of the most famous  dives in the world, an attraction for the Egyptian Red Sea and a world heritage.

While CDWS is investigating the matter with the concerned parties to ensure that such irresponsible behavior will not be repeated, we urge you to brief your diving guides and instructors to use the bollards on the sides of body of the wreck and to refrain from tying to any delicate areas of the structure.
