Happy Holiday's!

If you are an avid Christmas house decorator like I am, I want to pass on to you some ideas I have come up with to help the process go a little faster and smoother.
Before I begin my decorating, I empty my clear container (I recommend these or the red and green ones) of Christmas decorations on to a table. I then take everything off shelves and down from the walls so I can start with a clean slate. Everything I took down is placed into the containers that were holding my Christmas decorations, to be stored through the Holidays.
When the season is over and you are packing up your treasures, here is what I do. I pack according to rooms, and label my containers as such. This way when I am unpacking next season, I can decorate one room at a time. This eliminates much of the stress. I can do as little or as much as I want in any given day.
For example, the mantel items like stockings, their holders, roping and lights are all in one container. All the kitchen towels, dishes, platters and linenware are in another.
All the tree ornaments, lights and tinsel are together.
You get the idea.
I find this system to work very efficiently, I know you will too.
Anything to take the stress out of the Holiday is worth a try.
Until next year.
I hope everyone takes time to enjoy family and friends and let's not forget the reason for the season.

I would like to take this time to thank all of you for following of my etips.

I appreciate your trust in me and my organizational ideas.

May 2012 be a safe and prosperous New Year.
