With the economy the way it is right now, I know we are all watching our expenses and trying to save as much money as much as we can, in any way we can. I have always used coupons, but it seems that lately they have been more helpful then normal.

I have come up with my own system, that I would like to share with you.

First, I purchased a plastic accordion style container that has thirteen pockets. It is the size of a legal size envelope.

Each pocket has a place for a tab, which I labeled to fit my family's needs.

For example, here are a few of the tabs I used: dairy, can goods, non foods, pets, cleaners, and beauty/medicine. I also included a section for restaurants and department stores.

The key to couponing is to keep it up to date and don't forget to take them into the store.

My best tip for where to keep your coupons is in your car. That way, when you are out and about, you will have them with you.

Happy saving!
