hope everyone had a restful and fulfilling Thanksgiving.

I promised on the November e-tip to continue to address  the over abundance of holiday chores to do this month.
So lets get right to it.

By now, many of you are realizing that Christmas is not that far off, and your list of "to do's" is huge, so lets start by writing them all down. I will give you an example of my list.
Cooking, baking, shopping, decorating, card writing, entertaining and wrapping,

At this point I go to my calendar and start marking down in order what needs to be done, and on which day and week. This step helps me keep on track and it gives me a great sense of accomplishment when a task is done. It's like your own personal pat on the back.

You know that shopping is a must, and whether you shop on line or in the stores, make sure you have your list with you, along with any clothing sizes you may need. Keep your budget in mind and  stick to it. You will regret it come January if you don't.

I try to wrap my gifts as soon as I bring them home, that way I am not up all night on Christmas eve. Now that takes care of two of my to do's.

Christmas cards come next, and even though I continue every year to cut back, there are still a few people I send to.  Would it be wrong to send an e-card? I may have to think about that.

Decorating is a must in my house. I have three grandchildren who really look forward to seeing Nana and Papa's house all lit up, we also host my husband's business Christmas party there.

I traditionally take care of the Christmas decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving. Again, here is another area that I try every year to downsize.

Cooking and baking is on going, between hosting a party and having family over, I keep my grocery list active throughout the month.

With everything we have to do, please don't forget the reason for the season and to enjoy your family and friends.

I wish everyone a very happy and blessed Holiday season and a  healthy an organized 2011.

I would also like to take this time to thank all of you for your support this past year, in my first attempt to reach out to you with my organizing services through these e-tips. I look forward to continuing to help you with organizing in the new year.

If you know of anyone else who would also like to receive these e-tips, your referrals would be greatly appreciated.
