Get Organize Month

Welcome!
Here we are starting February, what happened to January? Didn't we just yesterday celebrate the Holidays?

With the cold weather outside this is a great time to organize all those areas that you keep putting off.
My area is the lazy susan in my kitchen that holds all my plastic ware. I have been ignoring this for at least 2-3 months. It's not that I don't want to do it, it's finding the time. So like I tell my clients I am going to schedule it on my calendar.
How about you? Do you have an area or areas that you just keep walking away from and tell yourself that I will get to it someday?
Perhaps that dreaded junk drawer, you know you have one, or is it the hall coat closet when every time you try to hang up your coat you have to move mountains to get it in or maybe the linen closet or under the bathroom sink.
Where ever it may be, set aside some time in these cold winter days.
That someday is today.
Remember the old saying, "don't put off for tomorrow what you can do
                                        today".
This time of year is also a great time to go through your medicine closet and clean out all expired medications.  With cold and flu season upon us this will make room for new medications you may need.
When disposing of medications please throw them away in a sealed container and not down the drain. This can contaminate our water system.
Since the beginning of January I have been going through each room and getting rid of items we don't need or use anymore.
My philosophy of "less is more" feels really good.
So let February be the month that you get to feel less stress because the clutter is going out.
Happy Valentines Day! Give a hug and kiss to someone you love.

Live Simply,
Joan
