Scrubbing Hands Day: Saturday
June 16th All-Church Clean-Up Day

Many hands make the work go faster (and more FUN)!

Help spruce up the church with a fresh spring cleaning! Help with simple tasks for as little or as much time as you have on Saturday morning, June 16th. No need to bring cleaning supplies. Some projects include:
  • Small fix-it projects
  • Wash and Vacuum Floors
  • Dusting
  • Organizing
  • Shrub Trimming (A volunteer is needed to bring a trimmer!)
The fun begins at 8:00am, but come whenever you can! Finish before lunch and meet next door for pizza! Cleaning has never been this delightful!
How to Welcome a New Pastor

A change in leadership can be filled with both anxiety and excitement. Need a few tips? Read "50 Ways to Welcome a New Paster" from the Lewis Center for Church Leadership. Here is a sampling:

#3: Invite church members individually to send cards of welcome and encouragement.

#34: Continue to remember your new pastor and family in your daily prayers.

#35: Introduce yourself to the pastor repeatedly! You have one name to learn, your pastor has many names to learn.

For a chuckle, read author and activist Brian McLaren's Ten Commandments for Welcoming a New Pastor.

In case you missed the special Enews that went out earlier introducing Pastor Mike and his family, you can read it by clicking here.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 8th! Plans for a welcome celebration are in the works. In true New Hope fashion, there will be cake!
