Sunday's Sermon Revisited

When have you come up against closed doors in your life? Can you think of times when doors have suddenly opened for you? How is God using you to open doors of faith and love for others?

Prayer requests for Pastor Mike

Please keep Pastor Mike and his family in your prayers as he faces some health challenges. Below is the message from Clark Stevens that was sent earlier this week:

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Yesterday I heard that Pastor Mike became ill at the Annual Conference meeting last weekend requiring a brief hospitalization for evaluation and testing.  I am pleased to report that he is feeling better but there are more tests to be done before the severity of his illness can be determined.  He was concerned that knowledge of his illness may be a cause of anxiety for some of us in the congregation but I assured him that we would want to be informed so that we could pray on his behalf.  Please join me in asking our Heavenly Father to bless Pastor Mike with His healing mercy.

Clark Stevens
Chairman
Staff Parish Committee

Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 8th! Plans for a welcome celebration are in the works. In true New Hope fashion, there will be cake!

Celebrating with A Fine Farewell

This past Sunday, New Hope celebrated the faithful work and prayer-filled sacrifices Pastor Greg, Kerry, and Rebekah have devoted to growing New Hope. Worship was followed by a celebration with photos, music, heartfelt wishes, and of course, a really big cake. Director of Ministries Patti Bacher was also recognized for her work. We wish both the Jewison Family and Patti the very best as they embark on new adventures!
