Holy Week at New Hope

TOMORROW NIGHT
Holy Thursday Last Supper
Thursday, April 5th, 6:00 p.m.
Maundy Thursday 2011
Remembering how Jesus shared in a Last Supper with his 12 disciples, we will gather at tables of 12 in our Worship Area to reenact this communion meal.  We will recall the final moments of the earthly ministry of Jesus and the room will be gradually darkened as we revisit the events leading up to Jesus' crucifixion and death.  Adults and children alike have found this New Hope tradition to be deeply meaningful.

Good Friday Prayer Vigil

Friday, April 6th, Noon - 3:00 p.m. - The Celebration Center will be open for you to come in and spend time in reflection with God.  A guided meditation with prayers and scripture will be available.

Easter Sunday
Sunday, April 8th, 9:30 a.m. - A joyful celebration including triumphal arrangements of great Easter songs!  Plan to stay for a reception and fellowship following the service.  Invite your family and friends!

Easter Offering
If you would like to make a special Easter offering (in addition to your regular tithing) - just put it in the offering plate or mail it to the church and indicate "Easter Offering" on the envelope or in the memo line of your check.  We are grateful to God for the blessing of your gifts!
Confirmation Nears

The confirmation class is in the process of completing their coursework and preparing for Confirmation Sunday.  There will be a rehearsal followed by dessert for the students and their families on Wednesday, April 18th starting at 6:30 p.m.

Confirmation will be the following Sunday, April 22nd during the 9:30 worship service.

Congratulations to Cece Fricke, Logan Green, Mason Piontek and Erika Rudd!
