Hi ,
As I gaze out the window and watch the rain coming down, I find my thoughts drifting to Pastor Greg's sermons. The hope that is offered to us through Jesus Christ is as refreshing as the green grass, budding trees and flower blossoms that follow a spring rain. How very, very fortunate we truly are. I give thanks for all of you as these spring rains wash us anew. See you in church; I'll save you a seat! Patti |

May's Upcoming Monthly Mission -
"Change the World" Work/Clean Up Day
| Saturday, May 14th 9:00 - 11:30 Making A Difference In Our Community...One Month At A Time
"Change the World" is a world wide effort by the United Methodist Church to get Methodists together, working in the community to make a difference. Our May Mission is to be part of a much greater effort to help our world, and it is a powerful witness to the UMC teamwork in Green Bay. Last year, about 100 people from all the UMC churches in the Green Bay area gathered to help clean up and prepare Heritage Hill for summer visitors. This year's event is planned for Saturday, May 14th. We will work from 9:00 to 11:30 and will finish with lunch at the park. New Hope needs to provide potato salad for about 100 people and we are looking for a volunteer to prepare it ahead of time. Contact Karen Zarembka at 366-5427 or sign up on the back table if you are able to work.

Scrip Help Needed Wednesday & Sunday Mornings
| |
We are in need of help on Sundays and Wednesdays with our Scrip program.
SUNDAYS - We need a number of people to help out on Sunday mornings handing out previous orders and Scrip to go, and accepting new orders. We are plan to set up a schedule for the volunteers to help once every month or two on a regular basis.
WEDNESDAYS - Starting the end of May or first of June, we need someone to pick up the Scrip orders from St. John church in Howard between 9 and -11 a.m. and then sort them for distribution before Friday noon.
Please let us know by email or by calling the church office at 964-0143 if you are able to help.
Our Scrip program is an ongoing fundraiser to support our programs and ministries here at New Hope. Through Scrip, we have raised over $1500 so far!

| Brat Stand @ Festival Foods | Friday, May 27th - Let's Be Seen In The Community! Summer is almost here and that means time for grilling and brats! Our next all church fund raiser will be at the Festival Foods Brat Stand on Main Street in De Pere. By working the stand for a day we can raise the awareness of New Hope Church in the community and earn money for our church at the same time. We are looking for volunteers to work our stand so grab a friend and sign up together! The more the merrier. We have a great day, Friday May 27th (the Friday of Memorial Day weekend) which means a lot of traffic at Festival Foods and that translates into more exposure and lots of brats and burger sales.
Here are the times that we need help: 8:00 am - 10:00 am Setup/Grilling 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Grilling and Serving 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Grilling and Serving 2:00 pm -4:00 pm Grilling & Serving 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Finish Grilling and Serving and Closing
A sign up sheet will be in the back of church or please contact Christy Aniol directly by e-mail or by phone at 339-8090. We need YOU to make this a success for our church!
