Greetings!
This week I am wrapping up several odds and ends as I prepare to leave Friday for Honduras for a week. For those of you who haven't heard, Kari, my youngest daughter is in the Peace Corp and has been there since last June. Needless to say, I have been thinking a lot about what to take with me on this journey. Kari says to "pack light" as we have to hike up a mountain and cross a stream by foot to get to her new home. My needs are simple, the tough part is all the things I want to take along for Kari, her host family and friends.
I was just reading the passage that Greg's sermon is based on this week and find my thoughts wandering to those who just dropped everything and followed Jesus. Just like that. Wow. Sometimes easier said than done. Could you do it?
Please pray for Kari, Lindsay, Harry and I as we travel for a fantastic time together in her new home. I'll be praying for New Hope and all of you for a wonderful week of worship, learning, loving and serving. Adios amigos! Patti |
