Christmas Pageant & Cookie Walk Were Big Hits!
|
The children did a wonderful job in the Christmas pageant Sunday afternoon and our thanks to Jen Engel, Amy Powell and Michelle Lake for all their hard work coordinating everything!
Sunday morning lots and lots of cookies were purchased for gifts and holiday enjoyment - to the tune of almost $500 being raised for Bulgaria missions. Thanks everyone for your hard work and generous hearts.

Plan on Celebrating Christmas Eve with our Bulgarian Partners
| Friday at 9:00 a.m. in Green Bay
Our partner church in Russe, Bulgaria will be sharing their Christmas Eve worship service with us live via the internet at 9:00 in the morning on December 24th. Bulgaria is 8 hours ahead of Green Bay and that makes it difficult for us to share a typical morning worship with them as we are normally sound asleep at that time! So it's a great opportunity for us to join their evening worship service to celebrate the birth of our Lord. Pastor Daniel Topalski's sermon, based on Luke 2:1-20, will be translated ahead of time for us, so we'll be hearing the same message they are receiving. Be here at New Hope on Friday, the 24th at 9:00 a.m. - take a break from the holiday rush, have a cup of coffee, a cookie, and experience worship in another language.

DivorceCare Series To Start at New Hope

Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce
DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. It takes a long time and a lot of work to heal the pain that comes with the breakup of a marriage. DivorceCare is a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling and hear valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce.
The 13 week program is designed so that you can begin attending on any week as each session topic stands on it's own.

Taste & See Women's Group to Study Angels

New study on Angels begins January 12th
Wed. mornings 9:30-11:00.
What - or who - are angels? Where did they come from, and what is their purpose? What is their relationship to us as human beings? These studies explore the numerous Bible passages that reveal the services these heavenly beings perform, the part they play in spiritual warfare, and how they differ from other beings in God's created order. Includes penetrating questions that generate discussion and an emphasis on daily application of Bible truth.
All women are welcome!

Christy Aniol wins drawing
Christy Aniol was the lucky winner of the drawing for the Bath and Body Works card. We had 14 families place 45 orders totaling over $11,800. So far we have raised almost $550 for programs and ministries at New Hope!
