Greetings!
A song from my youth comes to mind this morning. "Rain, rain go away. Come again another day." It's wonderful to see everything so green and lush, and this morning when I got to church I found only one spot where the storms of last night found their way inside to dampen our interior, but despite the gloomy weather the ideas were bright last night as we planned for the upcoming VBS. It's going to be great fun - be sure to sign up the kids, volunteer to help, or plan to stop by and check out the activities. (VBS is the first week in August and the details are below.)

July Food Drive..."One for me, one for the pantry"
| Local Pantries Are Struggling
We are holding a drive for non-perishable food items during the month of July. Local pantries are struggling to keep up with the demand, shelves are low, and our help is needed! They are most in need of canned foods, boxed items and personal hygiene items. Food will be collected through the end of July and then delivered to the De Pere Food Pantry. Please bring items and place them in the basket located in the lobby.
When at the store buy two, thinking: "one for me, one for the pantry"

KIDS! The belt of truth and the shield of faith are waiting for you at this fun and exciting vacation bible school adventure! Invite neighbors, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren to join in the fun as we learn about God, play games and have a snack.
For children entering kindergarten through 5th grade
Cost is only $5 each
Register by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 19th and get a FREE VBS 2010 t-shirt
(Registrations received after the 19th are still accepted, but may not receive a t-shirt depending on delivery.)
VBS is August 2nd - 5th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Our T-Shirt Won 1st Place!
| It's Not Too Late To Order One Our entry into Bellin Run's Corporate Challenge t-shirt competition won first place! It was a great pooling of talent as the confirmation class came up with a bible verse that tied into the theme of this year's challenge, and based on their ideas Katy Gertz whipped it into a jazzy design for our New Hope team to wear. We even won a first place medal! Cool, huh?

Connecting Couples To Have Mega-Mini Fun!
| Sunday, July 25th at 6:00 p.m.
The Connecting Couples group will meet Sunday, July 25th
at 6:00 p.m. at Kastle
Park for an evening of
Mega-Mini Golf and Go-Kart action. Group
rates and packages are available so cost will depend on how many people
attend.
Note: If you are in need of childcare,
please contact the church office and we will connect you with youth in the
church that are willing to provide care for your children.

Park is located across the street from
Bay Beach Amusement Park
on North Irwin Avenue.
