Greetings!

The current sermon series, "Are You Barely Surviving?  Or Totally Thriving!"  covers one of the Fruits of the Spirit each week.  So far we've covered love and joy;
Pastor Greg is preaching on PATIENCE this Sunday and I can't wait!  (Ha... I know I have a really lame sense of humor!)

I can hear the team of workers up on the roof hammering, pounding and thumping away as our new roof is constructed.  Everyone is all a buzz about what we are doing here at New Hope!  People stop in almost daily to see what is happening and it's lending us a great chance to have a little chat and tell them about New Hope.

Sounds like a great opportunity for you to tell others about what we're doing. ie:   "Hey, did you see we're getting a new roof?  Yeah, we've always got something good going on, come and check it out!"

I hope it rains on Sunday - we have a new roof!
Patti

New Hope Gets A New Roof
They are working hard to finish our new roof before more rain comes!
We are getting a new roof!

Corrigan's has been busy constructing our new roof over the past month and trying to stay one step ahead of the rain which has been a very difficult task to say the least!  After the rainstorms this past week, the amount coming in has gotten less and less and we see the end in sight!

We are experiencing joy and patience this week regarding our new roof...talk about Fruits Of The Spirit!
Healthy Recipe Exchange on Monday
Fruits & The Spirit Group Shares Healthy, Yummy Recipes

The Fruits & The Spirit Healthy Lifestyles class will have a recipe exchange when they meet Monday, June 28th at 12 noon.  Feel free to join this group of encouragers who are focused on learning to eat healthy and move more through good habits and prayer.

Bring your healthy recipes for new 4th of July picnic ideas.  What a great time of year to try something new made with fresh fruit and veggies!

An optional private weigh-in is available.

2030s at Farmers Market
Wednesday, June 30th at 6:30 p.m.

Young adults meet us at the entrance of Titletown Brewing at 6:30 on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month to walk the Farmer's Market on Broadway Street in Green Bay.  We'll  "oogle" the seasonal fare of vegetable and fruit goodness, check out the crafts of local artisans and perhaps share a bite to eat.
Taking A Circuit Look At Small Groups

Green Bay Circuit United Methodist churches are invited to a gathering at New Hope UMC in De Pere on Wednesday, June 30 at 6:30 p.m. to brainstorm, communicate and coordinate small group ideas for the fall.

Many of the eight churches currently offer DISCIPLE, Companions in Christ, women's Bible studies, men's Bible studies, couple's groups, Lay Servant Ministry classes, support groups, etc.

Let's put our heads and our efforts together and invite members to attend a study at any church as their schedule and interests allow. Call Patti Bacher, Director of Ministries at New Hope UMC, at 964-0143 or Donna Wilkinson, Director of Nicolet District Lay Servant Ministries, at 391-0734 with questions. All are invited.
