During the month of May Pastor Greg will present his sermon series, "Forwarding Jesus Without Clicking Send". The series starts this Sunday, May 2nd, with "How Will They Know the Message Comes from Jesus?" based on John 13:31-35. I don't know about you, but I think I'm going to love this series.

"Fruits" Multiply Meeting Times
| Mondays at noon
Wednesdays 5:30-6:00 pm - First meeting is May 5th!
Have you been thinking about making some healthy changes in your eating and exercise habits but really need the support of a group to get serious about it? Well New Hope's Fruits & the Spirit group is just the right place for you to discuss healthy eating, moving more and encourage each other along the way. An optional, private weigh-in and structured food plan are available.
We are adding a second meeting time each week on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:00 as well as meeting on Mondays at noon.
Come and join us - the buddy system is a great idea - bring your friends!

Engel, who has agreed to become our new committee chair. Jen will be taking over the position for Rev.

Jen! We give thanks to God for Barbara's
time, talents, and leadership for the past four years. She's done a great job!

Heartwarmers Assemble College Care Pkgs
| Wednesday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m.
The
Heartwarmer's will meet on Wednesday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m. in
Room 104 to assemble College Care
Packages. We ask that you bring a
$5.00 donation to help defer the cost.
The care packages will be sent to college students to encourage them as
they are busy studying for final exams.
If
you know of someone who is in college and would like them to receive a
care
package please email Patti to let us know. (Be sure to provide their mailing address for us.)
To
be a part of this outreach project, all you have to do is just show
up. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our confirmation class selected the theme and with their input Katy Gertz designed the snazzy graphic for us to enter in Bellin's t-shirt competition. It's based on 1 Timothy 4:7b "A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body" which is in small print surrounding the heart and body.
You can order your t-shirt here for only $15 each. ($16 for XXL) Orders are due by Monday, May 17th.

Help Needed At Postal Food Drive
| May 8th from 11:00 - 2:00...Mark Your Calendar NOW
New Hope's Caring Missions Ministry wants you to mark your calendars now for the annual Postal Workers Food Drive coming up on May 8th. The post office picks up food donations from their postal route and part of them will be dropped off at St Anne's Episcopal Church, located just down the street from New Hope. This big event helps stock
the De Pere Christian Outreach Food Pantry and they need our help sorting and
organizing the food from 9:30 am - 2:00 pm. with the main need from 11:00 a.m. until
2:00 p.m. It's like grocery shopping backwards! All you need to do to help is show up at St. Anne's on May 8th ready to help. Lunch from Subway will be provided to everyone.
