Greetings!

Pastor Greg's message this week, "Can You Be Thankful Even in Difficult Times?" is the final week in his fall series of Weathering the Storms of Life.

While you prepare for worship, here are a couple thoughts he suggests we ponder:

Are there times you find it difficult to be thankful?  Why?
Can you live a life filled with gratitude - even when life is difficult?

See you in church!
Patti

Caring & Sharing @ Christmas
Decorating for the season
New Hope will be sponsoring food, clothes and toys for families from Vida Nueva United Methodist Church this Christmas.  The individual items are divided so you can choose to purchase clothing, a toy, food or a gasoline approximately $20-25, but it is up to you what you are able to spend.  The child's name, age and clothing size are provided.

A keepsake ornament is included for your family as a remembrance of the happiness you are sharing with others this Christmas season.

Be sure to register the identifying number of your ornament on the sheet so we are able to ensure that all the children receive gifts.

Cash donations to the program are also welcome!  Just indicate on your check or envelope the intention of the gift.

Please return all gifts (wrapped) to New Hope on or before Sunday, December 13th.
We want to make sure you don't miss out on a single thing happening at New Hope, so we will be sending out weekly E-News to keep you well informed of what's happening with your church family.

We are open to suggestions - be sure to tell us what works, what doesn't work and to offer ideas to make it more helpful and useful for your family.

Blessings for a joy-filled Thanksgiving,
Patti
