Flowers & trees are blooming, the birds are singing, and Schapiro's have invested in a lawn mower and are no longer the eyesore of the neighborhood. Hallelujah! Feels like spring! Who's got the FEVER?

You know you have spring fever when you're restless for no reason; looking for something and not even knowing what it is. You can't sleep even though you're tired, and wake up early even though you've gone to bed late. Everything looks dingy and dusty and the windows are dirty from winter, or at our place cat's paws.

It makes you want to get rid of clutter -emails you'll never read, shoes that will never run again. Spring fever also means being okay on rainy days because they bring new growth. And new possibilities.

So pick a cleaning project, or better yet a race or fitness activity, and use your newfound restlessness to create a new habit for the spring. Bike ride anyone?
