Yes, you just read a quote from the guy who is best known for his role as Ferris Bueller's economic teacher and who temporarily had the show Win Ben Stein's Money in the late 90's. Actor, writer, and political commentator. The connection? Wait for it...
And runner! He also said, "The human spirit needs to accomplish, to achieve, to triumph to be happy." Smart guy. Deciding what you want, out of your running, your job, your relationships will help you determine when you've been successful.
Some of you will define success as completing a marathon. Others will define success as starting a walking program. Who decides whether or not you are getting what you want out of life? Not anyone else around you. Once you know what you want, you will be able to know when you've gotten to it.

Meet other runners/walkers at 6:00 PM in downtown Appleton at Just Act Natural, 129 E College Avenue for our Fun Runs.
Log your miles, meet others w/ similar fitness goals, maybe even stick around downtown for some post-run socializing. Two, three, and four-mile routes are available.
