Art prints for your home |
| Dear ,
We in metro Chicago have had a welcome taste of warmth this week. After a brutal winter, spring is a healing season. Folks are out walking and it seems that everyone's spirits are a note higher. This leads me to the following article about my acceptance into the exhibit entitled "Dreams of Healing." |

I am pleased to announce the acceptance of three digital collages into an exhibit at Swedish Covenant Hospital entitled "Dreams of Healing." This exhibit seeks to answer the question visually and by the written word: "What does it mean to dream in the face of illness? What is the nature of hope?"
The show runs Friday April 16 -
May 2, 9 am - 8 pm on the 1st floor of the Galter Medical Pavilion,
5140 N. California Ave., Chicago, IL.
Artist Reception: Friday April 16, 6 - 8 pm at the Galter Medical Pavilion. Parking available next to the Pavilion. |

Meet artist Julie Wishmeyer |
|
Julie Wishmeyer, is a former Chicago artist who has ventured to the great state of South Dakota and is being inspired by the Black Hills and the legacy of Native Americans. She received her B.F.A. from the Art Institute of Chicago. Julie creates one of a kind objects which reflect contemporary culture. I love her work because even though it is very different from mine, we both share a love of collage, complex pattern and bold design. See more of her work at juliewishmeyer.com
