Are you looking for an easy way to share files with someone from your computer?  Is it a pain to need to zip up a large file, create an email and then send it on or worse yet, scan it into your computer and then email or efax it out?

You have to try Dropbox if you are experiencing these pains.  Dropbox is a FREE download that installs a little box icon in your the bottom taskbar on your computer. Then, you are able to create folders inside for only specific people to access after you invite them.  It is an awesome way to transfer information.  My clients can see just the documents I want them to see on my computer and I can see just the documents they want to see.

Caution: New Virus Tactic!!
Virus pic

Be careful of emails with subject lines asking if you have a webcam or indicating a video of you on Youtube.  These email messages usually have your email address in the body and indicate that you were captured on video in a compromising position and there is a link provided to the "video".  DO NOT click on this link.  It is a new way the bad guys are delivering their viruses!  Just a word to the wise.

How To Beat The Fear Of Change
Cheese pic I read the best little book ever written recently, Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson, M.D. with the forward supplied by Kenneth Blanchard, Ph.D.  These men are the Co-Authors of The One Minute Manager.   This book should be required reading for everyone, especially young people just getting out into the world.  It is an easy read with a cute story about coping with change, rather being able to anticipate change and deal with it as efficiently as possible.  The story is about two mice and two miniature people, (mouse-sized) and how every day they run through a maze looking for cheese.  The "cheese" being a metaphor for a goal or wanted situation.

Outlook 2007 Out Of Office Rule

So many people have the problem of not being able to set up Microsoft Outlook 2007 to send "out of office" auto replies when they need them for vacations or long meetings.  I have discovered how to emulate the Out Of Office feature when you do not have an MS Exchange server and I found the secret to working around the bug that is in there, too.

Remember, if you have administrative pains, the eZone Secretary is always here to heal them.  Just give me a call!

Sincerely,
