We have many groups at Access North that offer support to those with a specific disability. Many of our consumers have requested groups that are open to everyone. We have
heard your request and have started two new recreational groups. The goal of these two groups is to foster an inclusive environment and create an atmosphere where everyone with and without disabilities of all ages can come together, enjoy an activity, and socialize. All of our groups have coffee, water and popcorn supplied.
Game Night is an opportunity for everyone to come together and have some fun. We have board games, card games, and video games. We meet the first Monday of each month from 5-7 p.m. The goal is to have many different game tables going at the same time.
Movie Night meets every Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. We do not have regular movies scheduled. To accommodate people's different tastes in movies, whoever is here at 4:45 gets to assist in choosing the movie for that evening.
