Auntie Wooly Says:
Dahlings! In my recent travels I learned that the brand of yarn we know as Nashua is becoming Rowan! Same yarn, same wonderful quality, but with a new name that is more familiar to fiber fans around the world. So, if you are looking for a Nashua yarn, it might be called Rowan now!
It's only slightly confusing, but those nice people in the shop can help you find what you're looking for, no matter what the name is!
Untill next time... Happy Stitching, My Dears! Auntie W.

Join Us at the Pinedorado Parade!
It's the end of August already? That means it's time for the Pinedorado Parade in Cambria! Come to the shop on Saturday September 3 at 8:30 AM and join us in walking or riding in the parade! The parade starts near the shop at 9:30. There is parking nearby at the Rodeo Grounds and there is also a bus that will bring you back from the end of the parade to the parking area. Every one that participates will receive a skein of yarn and either knitting needles or a crochet hook!
We'll also be joined by our dear friends from Pagewood Farms who will be knitting and spinning along the route! We will have a small flatbed trailer for those that would like to ride. No knitting or crochet skills needed, we're just showing our love of fiber and having some old-fashion small town fun!
Click here for a map of the parking area.

Thanks again, and we really hope you can join us! |

iPad Sleeves!
We love our iPad and we use it all the time in the store for looking up patterns, showing off projects, and watching Red Sox games (of course!) So, naturally, we had to make a case for it! We chose Noro Furisode as it's a bulky Cotton/Silk blend and is most resistant to static electric issues. The sleeve has no buttons or snaps. Instead we left a long flap that we tuck into the sleeve to protect and lock the case in place. Click here to download the free pattern.
