Come join us for a Cambria tradition! After a full day of fun at Shamel Park we all end up at Moonstone Beach where we watch a beautiful fireworks display over the ocean. Just too much fun.

Always! We have Christmas on a regular basis every time UPS shows up at the shop delivering new yarns, new colors, and new books. In the 'yarn biz' we're preparing for Spring and Summer. We've been meeting with various companies and placing orders for new exciting yarns. In January we'll be off to the TNNA Spring/Summer show in Long Beach looking for fun, unique things for us all. And yes, the shop will be open while Kris and Oz are away so stop by and say hello to the fabulous staff!

Wonder why we feel so good when we take yarn in hand and start to create? According to the Benson/Henry Institute for Mind/Body Medicine at Harvard Medical School when one is knitting or crocheting your heartbeat can drop as much as 11 beats per minute. There is a corresponding drop in blood pressure as well. Lowering your stress level, your heart rate, and your blood pressure are the things our doctors tell us we should do. So pick up that yarn and work on those projects - it's Doctor's Orders!

We will close at 4PM on Friday December 24, Christmas Eve We'll be closed on Saturday December 25, Christmas Day. We'll be open as usual from 10 - 5 on Boxing Day, December 26th. We will be open on New Years Eve and New Years Day on our regular schedule.
